INGREDIENTS

4 dcl whole milk

1 dcl strongly prepared coffee

20g cocoa powder (100%)

2 mint sprigs

60g erythritol (or 40g good-quality honey)

dark chocolate (optional)

 

PREPARATION

  1. Pour the prepared coffee into a cooking pot together with milk and start heating. When the mixture gets hot (not boiling), start slowly putting cocoa into it and stir constantly with a hand whisk. Meanwhile, mocha, must not boil! Then reduce the temperature, add the washed mint sprigs and cook everything for 2-3 minutes so that steam is coming out of the pot, but the mixture does not boil. Meanwhile, grate the chocolate.
  1. After cooking, set the pot aside, cover and let it stand for 10 minutes for the mint to leave its flavor. Then remove the mint sprigs, add the sweetener, mix and pour into two cups.
  1. You can add grated chocolate to each cup and garnish with mint leaves.

 

NOTES

– Peppermint extract (natural peppermint oil) can be used instead of fresh mint.
